Nationwide Overview

The misery index hit a 28-year high in May.  http://bit.ly/kai6Xg   The IMF cuts its estimates for future U.S. growth.  http://yhoo.it/kjhyX0  In a sign of the times, financial institutions will be hiring around 7,000 to battle foreclosures.  http://bit.ly/ivRZYs  To add to the cheery news, middle class jobs are anticipated to shrink due to outsourcing and new technology.  http://bit.ly/l9JJ94

Not all the news is bad.  There are some areas where hiring is occurring, and two bright spots are Washington, D.C. http://bit.ly/mIJWId  and Columbus, OH  http://bit.ly/lPSXqa according to Manpower.

Illinois
